Suite Lobby by Marie Deroudilhe
We gave free rein to architect Marie Deroudilhe’s imagination to transform the reception hall at EquipHotel Paris 2024 into a striking hotel-style lobby. Located on the third level of Pavilion 7, the space welcomed visitors as if they were stepping into a boutique hotel.
In this 150 m² immersive environment, designed to feel both disconnected and inspiring, Marie Deroudilhe shared her distinctive vision of hospitality, reimagining dreamlike hotel lobbies and suites.
The result was a theatrical setting built around a central marquee and two alcoves: one inspired by wellbeing, the other by relaxation. The architect aimed to evoke a sense of “comfort and amazement” throughout the experience.
Confidences pour confidences
For the first time, EquipHotel introduced a space designed as a mini-museum, dedicated to showcasing four designers’ interpretations of the perfect seat for conversation and connection.
Designer Fanny Perrier, architect Marco Lavit, interior architect Oscar Lucien Ono, and the creative duo Marthe Simon & Paul Peller each brought their vision to life through immersive environments: a winter garden, a dressing room, a salon, and a spa lobby.
Within these four distinct 30 m² settings, the tête-à-tête was reimagined not merely as a piece of furniture, but as an experience, one shaped by atmosphere, intimacy, and narrative.
