Do not disturb, a tribute to privacy

In an age of artificial intelligence, overexposure and real-time sharing, privacy is emerging as a new safe haven. A quiet, rare, customised and emotional experience is becoming an essential hallmark of hospitality offerings.

Do not disturb, a tribute to privacy, will take its place at the heart of the new Exclusive Collection by EquipHotel space, an area of around 1,000 sq. m bringing together French and international exhibitors that embody premium hospitality reinventing the codes of luxury.

Poids-plume

An international showcase of French expertise and excellence

Designed in partnership with Réseau Excellence des Entreprises du Patrimoine Vivant and Mobilier National, the exhibition gives free rein to five creative talents with complementary profiles.

Each of them will propose their own vision of privacy by reinterpreting a private space in a place of hospitality, such as a bedroom, living room, bathroom, patio, terrace or other secluded space.

The exhibition is positioned as an international showcase of French expertise, combining artisanal excellence, contemporary design and a commitment to sustainability.

When architects, designers and artists bring privacy to life

A la source du refuge : l'eau by Mathilde de l’Ecotais

The fins, multiplied through plays of light and shadow, evoke the first movements of living beings in water. The décor celebrates this primordial element—the source of all creation—while artisanal craftsmanship transforms natural forms into an immersive experience. The space becomes a cocoon where birth, transformation, and renewal come together.

This bathroom invites guests to reconnect with what truly matters, where water—the origin of life—is used consciously and responsibly.

The Mesurometer tub reinterprets an ancestral gesture as a contemporary ritual. By making water consumption visible, it encourages a more mindful use of resources. Hospitality is no longer defined by abundance, but by the quality of each gesture, where design, craftsmanship, and innovation come together in the service of sustainable luxury.

La chambre nomade by Emilieu Studio

Emilieu Studio extends its nomadic embassy project — created for the Les Nouveaux Ensembliers show, scheduled for November 2025 at the Mobilier National —, by imagining an immersive room capable of transforming an existing space. Like a “box within a box,” textiles suspended from repurposed props create an interior architecture enriched with floral patterns crafted through multiple forms of expertise. Between circular economy, invention and ornament, the room proposes a new way of withdrawing from the world and redefining interior décor today.

Scenography partners: Cirva / Codimat / Drouault / Étains de Lyon / Pierre Frey / Pierre-Yves Morel / Samuel Rousseau / WITH-BY

Poids-plume by Wilmotte

Poids-Plume explores the boundary between substance and lightness, between raw presence and a sense of suspension. The artisanal gesture shapes vibrant materials — glass, ceramic and feather — within a monochrome scenography where light, fragrance, sound and textures invite visitors to slow down. An imaginary, dreamlike world in which material becomes emotion.

Scenography partners: Agencement Paul Champs / Atelier Berger / Compagnie Dumas / Elipson / Emmanuelle Grin / Horus / Iguzzini / Le Cadre / Maison de la maille / Meubles Thouret / Martine & Colette / Verreries de Bréhat / Toiles de Mayenne
