Mama Shelter shook up the codes of hospitality through its exocentric location in Paris’ 20th arrondissement, its perfectly equipped rooms at very affordable prices, its restaurant offer and its bars, meeting places for both hotel guests and local residents, all of which were designed by Philippe Starck. Following the success of the Paris hotel, Mama Shelter opened in Marseille, Istanbul, Lyon and Bordeaux, and is due to open in Los Angeles in 2014. Serge Trigano is also regularly consulted as an authority on subjects relating to travel and urban development.
